Patient Advocate

KSB’s Patient Advocate advances communication between the patient and KSB in order to continually improve the patient experience. She serves as a liaison between patients, families, hospital and medical staff in order to promote patient satisfaction.
The patient advocate at KSB supports the patients and families with an emphasis on neutrality, collaboration, and problem resolution.
The advocate believes in respect for the patients’ right to control their health care decisions, that their dignity shall never be compromised, that caring and compassion are key, and that education and information are vital to informed healthcare decision making.
The patient advocate serves as the point of contact for organization-wide complaints, grievances, and compliments and is available Monday through Friday by calling (815) 285-5525.
